Overview

Rock City, based in Nottingham City Centre, has a capacity of 2451, and is known for its intimate atmosphere. It has been described by NME as "sweaty, but truly indie". Rock City is divided into two rooms: the main hall and the Basement, with four bars and seating available. It is an all-standing venue during gigs, which take place in both rooms.

The club has a wealth of history, due in part to its lifespan, and is a major club on the Toilet circuit. Typically, Rock City plays host to medium sized gigs, from smaller upcoming bands of the underground scene, to bands that are getting limited chart success but are still too small to play larger venues.

Rock City's smallest room holds 350 and its largest room holds 1,900.

Club Nights
